RUCK•ING [VERB] Carrying a weighted pack on your back. It implies action, energy, and purpose.

Our club meets a couple of times a month as well as with impromptu rucks among members each week. For our larger monthly rucks, we set out along a pre-planned route, usually 3 to 6 miles, and stop for a beer or lunch somewhere along the way. There is no cost to join us and the rucks are open to members and non-members of the Becoming Badass Training Center.

This is a perfect entry point for someone wanting to get off of the couch and start getting into shape—everyone is welcome. Bring a backpack—any will do—throw 10+ pounds in it and start walking. If you are already fit but want a more difficult workout, add more weight to challenge yourself.

We stick together and no one gets left behind. There is also no reason to worry about slowing the group down as the more experienced ruckers will be carrying more weight and will not be sprinting ahead.

Keep an eye on the Badass Mutha Ruckers Facebook group and Instagram page to stay up to date about our next event.
