This past week training was aaaahmazing! I feel like I am finally in a routine and feeling my performance improve. Well, I don't feel as if my workouts are killing me. I am teaching cycle three times a week, yoga three times a week, a long run, shorter run and my scheduled workout for Horner Elite. I know for some that  may seem like a lot, but what I am trying to do will take a lot. My goals are not only to run races, but do well. Eventually win. I also have a long term goal that I will share another day while on this journey.

Now week after week food is never perfect but I am ok with that. Perfect to me is having balance and being able perform at optimal levels. My workouts are great and after a 10 miler on Saturday I felt reassured my endurance is improving. I am being mindful with certain exercises ( like heavy squats) and making sure I am not aggravating my hips. I huge part of racing is running not squatting heavy, so I have to pick and choose my battles. I do love me some deadlifts though!

I am looking forward to switching up my workouts in the next few weeks. But as for now I am enjoying seeing my progress and feeling stronger. I may not look completely different, but I am no longer motivated by aesthetics as much as I am performance.
